They Just Won The Internet

A video of the elderly residents at Abbington Senior Living Mapleton dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” have been making rounds online and for good reason – it’s the most heartwarming thing you’ll see today. The performers sported face paint and zombie makeup and while sitting in their chairs, they danced to the iconic routine move-for-move. And that’s not all. Some of them went all-out by making scary zombie faces at the camera.

Someone even donned a red jacket and black wig similar to what Michael Jackson wore in the music video. According to the home’s spokesperson, this is an annual thing. For this year, the dancers performed in front of their friends and family for Halloween. Towards the end of the clip, some of the seniors staggered out of their chairs to seemingly scare the audience. They rehearsed intensely and well, it obviously paid off.

Many viewers pointed out that this is actually a good mobility exercise for the residents. And a big bonus is that it’s super fun too. The video has been viewed over 3 million times on Twitter and shared almost 200k times on Facebook. Check out the full clip below and we guarantee you, it will make you week.
